"From pure sensation to the intuition of beauty, from pleasure and pain to love and the mystical ecstasy and death–all the things that are fundamental, all the things that, to the human spirit, are most profoundly significant, can only be experienced, not expressed. The rest is always and everywhere silence." -- Aldous Huxley
I used to feel lost in the world, but I've turned those feelings of despair and trauma into something beautiful. I felt small, weak, scared, and very alone, but even when I was young, cities remedied those negative emotions. How can my personal affinities matter in a place so vast?
The heart beat of the city, the history, the culture, the people, the very soul of a place that fosters life itself... how could I not want to capture it?
Urban Ubiquity is fragmented perspectives of the world, from the eyes of R3NYAS. As I expand my photography style, I want to give guidance to my endeavours. So while this is a digital love letter to the conceptual idea of cities, this also allows me to continue growing and developing my artist's voice.
